BIG RIGHTY FEVER!!

I believe this is definitely the year for BIG RIGHTY. Lil JT and James we’re tearing it up on Sunday April 1st, and that’s no April fools joke. Unfortunately, I failed to bring my bike and was stuck watching them ride Main and BIG RIGHTY. They are already getting as far in the line as we were getting last year, but the trails are still a little slow. I guess it is only April.

Uphill and Downhill are good to go. We’ve had a few nice days and I bet all lines should be going great as soon as everybody comes out and help us ride everything in. Hope to see you soon.

You would think with the rain, the fact that it’s March, and we just started digging one week ago, there’s no way we would be riding. Obviously nobody told Lil Jt that. He was blazing Uphill and Downhill (he just finished downhill today). He would definitely get the man of spring award if I gave one out. With that beig said, a few dry days and we will be hitting all lines. Main is ready and Middles got a quick makeover along with Silly’s. Have I mentioned that I’ve also been working on BIG RIGHTY? Almost done and I can’t wait. See ya soon.

Well, it was a bit spur of the moment, but I made down and did some digging over the weekend. Boy, am I glad I did. Main is almost done and BIG RIGHTY is closer than ever to being done, and Big. Lil JT came down and pretty much knocked out Uphill. With a little luck and co-operation with Mother Nature, we just might be riding this weekend. Cross your fingers!

Winter sucks, here’s some video

OK, so winter is on it’s way. Even though it’s suppose to be 60 degrees and sunny on Friday, there’s no use ignoring the fact that snow will be flying in no time. I already can’t wait until next summer, but in the meantime, there’s plenty of inspiring videos on YouTube to keep me going.

Jump Jam pushed back to SUNDAY

Jump Jam: Sunday, June 21 POSTPONED

Update (6/21/09): Mother Nature’s a bitch. Jump Jam has been postponed until a future date – to be announced (probably around the end of July). Trails are still pretty wet. Check back for updates on the when the Jump Jam will be — or e-mail trailboss@applecreektrails.com and we’ll put you on a list to be e-mailed as soon as the next date is picked.

You heard right – due to the recent storms drowning us at the trails, we have to move the Jump Jam back 1 day from Saturday, June 20 to Sunday, June 21 to a later date. If you still want to come Saturday anyway, we can sure use the help digging, draining, and getting the trails in tip-top shape for Sunday.

If mother nature keeps hammering us, we might have to reschedule the Jump Jam for a different weekend. We’ll keep you posted here – so check back tomorrow.
